Coconut Chuttney

  • 1/2 Grated Coconut
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 1 Red Chilly
  • 50 Gms of Fried Gram
  • A Small Piece of Ginger
  • A Small Piece of Garlic
  • 1/2 Table Spoon of Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 Table Spoon of Urad Dal
  • 7-8 Curry Leaves
  • 2 Table Spoon Oil
  • Salt as per the requirement

  • Grind the grated coconut with fried gram, 2 green chillies, ginger & garlic pieces added with required amount of salt. Grind till it becomes a paste (Medium Paste)
  • Heat the oil in a small pan, when its becomes hot, fry the mustard seeds, urad dal, curry leaves, dry red chillies which are cut into pieces. Fry till the red chillies turn dark in color
  • once the contents are fried, take away the pan from the heat and add it to the coconut paste.
  • Thats it, your Coconut Chuttny is ready to serve to make your Soft idly, Crispy Dosa, oothappam, uppma, etc.,
