Onion Chuttny / Chutny / Chutney / Chuttney (Vengaya Chuttny)
Ingredients:
- 2 onions
- 2 Table Opoon Bengal Gram (Kadalai paruppu)
- 4 red chillies
- 1 Table spoon of Tamarind Pulp
- 7-8 Curry Leaves
- Salt as per the requirement
- 2 Table Spoon Oil
- Heat the 2 table spoon of oil in a pan, when its becomes hot, fry the chopped onions (which was cut into lengthwise), 2 table spoon Bengal Gram (Kadalai paruppu), curry leaves, dry red chillies . Fry it until the ingredients become golden brown color (You can smell that sweet and good odour)
- once the contents are fried, take away the pan from the heat and add 1 table spoon of tamarind Pulp and salt for taste. Mix this contents into fine paste
- Your Onion Chuttny is ready to serve with Soft idly, dhosai, uthappam, uppma, etc.,
