Sweet Coconut Milk (Thengai Paal)

Ingredients:
  • 1 big size coconut (grated)
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder
  • Half glass of  boiled milk (optional)
Preparation:
  • Grind fresh grated coconut with little water. Strain through a strainer. Repeat the procedure 2-3 times with the coconut to extract as much milk as possible (Milk should be thick)
  • Mix sugar & cardamom powder with coconut milk till the sugar dissolves
  • Optionally you can add boiled milk
  • Now you can serve the Sweet Coconut Milk with Santhgai, Plain Aappam & Dosa
